To better serve the American community, the Consular Section will eventually require appointments for all routine services.  This is part of a worldwide initiative by the U.S. Department of State for all U.S. Consular Sections abroad.  While appointments may be required for most services, the American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit will always be open for true life or death emergency requests.  Please contact the ACS Unit with any questions at ACSConsularDoha@state.gov or (974) 488-4101 ext. 6117.
