Children of Parents with Valid Visas

Parents already holding valid visas may apply for their children 13 years or younger without an interview.   

This process does not apply to children of American citizens or Green Card Holders. American Citizens and Green Card Holders will need to appear for an interview with out an appointment. Interview timings are from Sunday through Thursday from 8 - 10 a.m. only. (except official holidays)  

Prepare

• Photo: Recent color passport size with white background and one electronic photo for your online application.  (JPEG file format / 240 KB or less)    REMINDER:  No head covers except for religious purposes.   
• Pay your fee at Commercial Bank of Qatar to receive the yellow receipt for each application.  REMINDER:  Fees are not refundable and they are not transferrable.

• One Application for each child: https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/  (Please print confirmation page.)
• Passport 
• Copy of Father’s Valid Visa
• Copy of Mother’s Valid Visa

Come to the U.S. Embassy to drop off the following without an appointment:  {Passport drop off is Sunday through Thursdays from 9 – 10 am, except official holidays}

• Yellow Commercial Bank Receipt
• Application Confirmation Page
• Copy of Father’s valid Visa
• Copy of Mother’s valid Visa
