Diversity Visa Lottery

Please be aware -- There are many fraudulent companies and individuals that will attempt to extort money from DV applicants for "registration" and other fees. There application process to enter the DV-2007 lottery is over. Watch out for the next anouncement. For more details visit www.dvlottery.state.gov . This application process is free.

Winners of the DV lottery will be notified by postal mail, not by e-mail. Any fraudulent notifications of winning sent by email should be disregarded.

There will be an increase in the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery surcharge for diversity immigrant visa applications, from US $100 to US $375. This fee is applicable only to winners of the DV lottery and will be paid to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate when the visa is issued.
