Please be aware -- There are many fraudulent companies and individuals that will attempt to extort money from DV applicants for "registration" and other fees. Winners of the DV lottery will be notified by postal mail, not by e-mail. Any fraudulent notifications of winning sent by email should be disregarded.
There will be an increase in the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery surcharge for diversity immigrant visa applications, from US $100 to US $375. This fee is applicable only to winners of the DV lottery and will be paid to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate when the visa is issued.
