Photography Exhibition Opened (January 14, 2008)

An Exhibition of some stunning landscape photographs of American photographer, Tom Till, was opened by the Charge' and the Faleh Al Hajeri, Director of Arts at the National Council for Culture, Arts and Heritage at the Villagio Mall in Doha yesterday. This exhibition is presented by the Embassy in collaboration with the Visual Arts Center.

This exhibition will run upto the 20th of January  and is open to public.

American Embassy and the Visual Arts Center sponsor desert photography workshops in Qatar

Sphinx in Qatari desert

Embassy Doha in collaboration with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Heritage and the Visual Arts Center, hosted American landscape photographer Tom Till for an exhibition of his photographs of American landscapes.  While in Qatar, Mr. Till conducted a number of photography lectures and workshops with amateur photographers and the Visual Arts Center.  The two-day photography workshops were held in Zikrit and the desert dunes of Sealine.  We are proud to present some of the photographs taken by local photographers during the photography workshops.  More information about the photography of Tom Till is available at www.TomTill.com.
