Scholarship Opportunity for study of English at Eastern Washington University

The American Embassy in Doha, Qatar in collaboration with Eastern Washington University (EWU) is pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity for one qualified Qatari student (age 18-25) to study at the English Language Institute of EWU.

This scholarship will cover all tuition fees for the 3-month English Language Institute at Eastern Washington University during 2007 or 2008.  Available English Language Institute sessions are:

September 25, 2007 – December 14, 2007

January 7, 2008 – March 21, 2008

March 31 – June 13, 2008

All English Language Institute courses are taught on the campus of Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington.  The English Language Institute at EWU is an accredited program with the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation and is designed to prepare students for an undergraduate education in English.  Transportation to and from the program, as well as housing and living costs in the United States are not included in this scholarship.  The scholarship covers only the tuition for the English Language Institute at EWU.
