Research Science Institute (RSI) for High School Students.

Research Science Institute (RSI) is an exchange program for academically talented high school students in math and science to spend 6 weeks during the summer in the U.S.

Benefits:

  • Foster theoretical backgrounds in: pure and applied mathematics, biological and physical sciences, chemistry and humanities
  • Enroll in the most prestigious technological institute in the U. S.-  CalTech and MIT
  • Promote research skills including scientific communication, computer use, and research methods
  • Experience a lecture series by distinguished guest speakers
  • Participate in off-campus internships and field trips

You can apply,  if you..

  • are a top math and science high school student
  • are between the age of 15 - 17 years old 
  • have completed comparable to three years of high school
  • have very good proficiency in English

Cost:  Funded by The Center for Excellence in Education. Participants are expected to pay for their international travel to and from the US.

Key Dates for RSI 2007:

January 15:
All application materials should be submitted to the US Embassy
February 9
All application materials must be in the CEE office by the 9th.
March 31
Students notified of admissions decision
June 24
Program opens at MIT
Ù?Ù?August 4
Program closes
