Ambassador sees off Exchange Students to U.S.
On October 9, Ambassador LeBaron addressed an audience of 54 Qatari students preparing to depart for university studies in the United States, sponsored by the Qatar Olympic Committee. The students will study in Denver, Colorado for 4-6 years and then return to Qatar to work as Sports Managers and Administrators, helping to implement the Qatar Olympic Committee’s vision of making Qatar “a leading nation in bringing the world together through sport.” Ambassador LeBaron awarded American Embassy mementos to each of the students and wished them a bright future ahead.
