Ambassador Highlights U.S. – Qatar Business Partnerships in Visit to Qatar Project Management Company (QPM)

U.S. Ambassador to Qatar Joseph LeBaron visited the Qatar Project Management Company (QPM) to meet with the Company’s senior management and to highlight QPM’s strong partnerships with American firms.
Ambassador LeBaron was received by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Siddiqi, QPM Vice Chairman and Managing director, Mr. Nasser Kamal, QPM Chief Executive Officer, and the directors of QPM departments. After listening to QPM’s current and future plans, Ambassador LeBaron commended the cooperation between QPM and U.S. companies and underlined the importance of these partnerships in enhancing U.S. – Qatari relations and promoting economic growth.
The US Ambassador praised U.S.-Qatari relations and admired the growth and development of the Qatari economy. He described the relations between the two countries as strong, based on mutual respect and common interests.
“The US maintains solid relations with friends all over the world. Our relationship with Qataris is marked with special significance, since the U.S. and Qatari peoples share common interests in the fields of education, business, and technology” said the Ambassador.
QPM has signed several agreements with leading international and U.S. companies in order to benefit from their best practices in providing world-class project management services. These companies include Hill International, a company with 35 years of experience in project management, 5000 projects, and 2300 employees in 31 countries around the world. QPM has partnered as well with Louis Berger Group, a company with 50 years of experience and 5000 professional staff worldwide. QPM is also working with David Adamson & Partners Overseas, a 75-year old international company with projects in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, and East Asia.
Ambassador LeBaron thanked QPM senior management for their hospitality and generosity.
