Journalism Workshop Opened

Charge' Michael Ratney opened a workshop on Journalism, conducted by Prof. Martha Steffens and Brian Steffens of University of Missouri. He was accompanied by the Deputy General Manager of Al Sharq, Mr. Ibrahim Al Sayyed, Director of DarInfo, Dr. Yahya Al Awad and the Public Affairs Officer at the American Embassy, Joey Hood. The opening drew a huge response from the journalistic community and about 55 participants, which included students from Qatar University, journalists, and government officials attended it.

This workshop will run for 3 days where Prof. Martha and Brian would cover subjects like Investigative Journalism and Covering Election of Shura. The workshop ends on January 29.
