Ambassador's Message

Qatar’s economy is growing at an unprecedented rate, based on oil exports of more than 700,000 barrels per day and sharing the largest natural gas field in the world. The Qatari government is taking concrete steps to facilitate foreign investment. Meanwhile, the country’s economy is diversifying, welcoming U.S. exporters and a wide variety of goods and services.

The Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy in Qatar provides a range of services to U.S. firms, from counseling on the business climate to preparing comprehensive reports on potential business partners.
