Our Services:
Important Notice: All services require appointments. Please make sure that you arrive on time and that you complete your application before arrival. If you arrive late or submit an incomplete application, you will be denied service and asked to return another day.
Your appointment time refers to the time you should arrive in the Consular Section and not the time of your interview. Please anticipate additional time for driving in Doha and security screening at the U.S. Embassy. Proceed to the Consular window on the right of the Embassy’s main gate and present a copy of your appointment notice. Depending on the demand on any particular day, this may require a wait of 30 minutes or more, so please plan accordingly.
Ongoing road construction outside the Embassy: 22 February Street (D-Ring Road) is completely closed between Immigration and Al Sudan Roundabouts. All access east of the Embassy is now blocked, including the gravel access road that previously allowed drivers to cross 22 February Street from the east. Access is available on a composite material slip-road that parallels 22 February Street along the side nearest the Embassy. A new temporary parking lot is available in front of the Embassy for visa applicants and American citizens.
Several routes to the Embassy remain open, but visitors should plan for delays as all construction activity, its impact upon the road network, and accessibility to the Embassy is subject to change with little to no advance notice. At this time, the Embassy cannot predict when the road construction project will be completed; however, we anticipate the road works could continue for another 12 to 24 months.
