U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Officer Joey Hood donated a collection of more than 100 books on diverse themes to the Bright Future Pakistani School. During the event, the PAO viewed the students’ prize-winning scale models of famous landmarks such as San Francisco’s Golden Gate bridge and other projects that earned the school a second-place award at the annual Flower and Vegetable Fair competition.
Mr. Hood later entertained students with a reading of a classic American children’s story and fielded their questions about American history and diversity. The PAO and school principal, Mr. A.A. Qureshi, discussed several areas of potential future cooperation between the Embassy and the school while sampling a selection of delicious Pakistani food.
