Fulbright American Studies Scholarship 2009-2010 (for Qataris only)
The Public Affairs Office of the U.S. Embassy in the State of Qatar is pleased to announce the Fulbright American Studies Scholarship Program for summer 2009. This program is an opportunity for university faculty, secondary school teachers, teacher trainers, curriculum developers and textbook writers, and other educational professionals to attend a six-week post-graduate seminar in the United States.
These nine (9) different programs will be held at different universities or colleges throughout the U.S. These programs include: American Studies Institute for Secondary School Educators; Religion in the United States: Pluralism and Public Presence; Contemporary American Literature; U.S. Foreign Policy: Foundations and Formulation; American Civilization; The U.S. Political Economy and the Global Economic System.
All programs require excellent proficiency in English and applicants must be Qatari citizens. Please review the information on the website for further details on eligibility requirements, programs offered and nomination forms.
